In Room 6 we made bread and butter!!
We all had a turn at doing something..
We waited for the bread to rise
While we waited we made our butter. We had to do lots of shaking!!
It started to turn into butter. It still needed more shaking!
The butter was yum!!
We buttered our own bread
And then we gobbled it up!!
YUUUUUMMMM!!!
What will we make next?

Modification
Our Concept for term 2 is MODIFICATION.
What do you think this might mean?
Tell your teacher and post it on our blog.
Will had a chat with his dad and found out that Modification means...Well if you want to change something you can add something to it or take something off it. Like a lego car you could take the bumper away or add a roof.
Rosa had a look on google and found out that Modification means...It is a change to something, usually only a small or slight change.
..............
What do you think a car would look like in the future? Some children from the Koru Syndicate decided to invent a future car. I wonder if they will be driving in these cars when they are 100?

Nothing Is Impossible!
Rosa's reading group read a story called The Impossible Bridge. Her group's challenge was to build their own bridge to hold a toy car. Rosa achieved the challenge and had fun making this bridge with her dad.
More photos to come testing the bridge with a car.

Our Blue Tongue Visitor...Tink
Miah brought in her families Blue Tongue Lizard this morning called Tink.
Tink is 3 years old and comes all the way from Australia. Miah's family are not too sure if Tink is a boy or a girl but they know Tink loves to eat anything like fruit, snails or slugs...but probably not a Cheeseburger Happymeal!
Thanks Miah and Dad.
